Quick questions...do we HAVE to get letters of recommendation 1 from bio and 1 from chem or does it not matter? Can I ask two chemistry professors to write me a letter?
You can get it from whichever professors YOU believe will write the best for you (though I heard from a few people that science professors are preferred. If anyone is definite on this, please provide your input). Ask a professor/dentist/research professor who you had a good relationship with (i.e. you went to their office a lot for help, or researched with them, or shadowed them, or worked with them, volunteered with them, etc) because you know they will be able to write something good about you.
I'm getting one from my bio research prof, one from a prof who taught a bio course, and the last from my dentist. You may have a totally different group of people and that's completely fine, but yes a bio and chem professor can totally work. Just make sure they know who you are and know what to write about you.
So...since I would be applying to several schools, I noticed that we are limited to asking 4 individual LOR. A few schools are asking two chemistry, or two bio, with a dentist, how do I fulfill all the school requirements with only limited 4 spots of LOR?
I was planning to get letters from 2 chem professors, 1 dentist, and 1 academic outside of science. Please help!! thank you!!!
