gonna get ugly?

Too early to know right now without actually seeing the programs.

No Kings County?

there's no listing for "mine"

As the news people kept saying Tuesday night, too early to call.

Why torture myself coming up with a number one before I know everywhere I'll be interviewing, and before I actually see the places?

How long did you keep the poll open? If not for a long time, maybe we can do this again in a couple of months. 🙂

What no Osteo programs? 😀

My #1 is Stewart!

I'm pretty sure I kept the poll open forever. This is JUST the START of this thread and will hopefully continue for many months. Maybe some people already know where they want to go, and since the poll won't ever close the rest of us can just add to it all throughout interview season. My apologies if some of you thought I wanted you to come up with a #1 this very second, def not the reason for the post. Sorry if I left out some programs on the list, I got tired of typing at 48 and just put "Other". 😉

Who needs patients when you've got texbooks? (two copies of some of them as I recall) 🙂

I've heard something not listed is one bad a** program.

Dude its funny.. how about the U of Arizona...I cant believe its not on the list..

new to the EM forum...

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on Brigham and Women's EM program (assuming of course they have one). I didn't see it on the list, but did see MGH and BIDMC. I was wondering how Brigham and Women's stacks up versus those two? and also, how it does nationally?

There are 2 Harvard programs. One is based at BIDMC, the other at both BWH and MGH.

The scramble.😱

Presto! You're motivated.
Haha, this is indeed an excellent motivator! Still tired of interviews though, plus I have warm fuzzies for a program (see: Warm Fuzzies post). 10th interview is tomorrow, with 4 more to go. :::::Sigh:::::

I think it's time to revive this thread, now that interview season is coming to an end.... anyone? thoughts?

i want to change my vote. UPenn needs a vote🙂😎

Haha, I wonder if anyone else is feeling the same way. I've kinda liked one program all along (pitt)... but got sidetracked from 2 others during the interview trail and now I have no idea what I want. At least I have a month to decide 😉

My top 5 choices are: Highland, USC/LAC, Jacobi, SUNY Downstate, and Boston Medical Center. I'm not sure exactly what order they're going to be in... but at least it's progress! (this is narrowed down from 15 interviews total!). I think i'm only going to end up ranking around 10 though...

I'd be curious to see how things looked if we restarted this poll...

Whoops, I messed up your little poll by participating. I chose Harbor cause that's where I am, sucka! I presume this is a feeble attempt to gauge the level of competition?😉

Here's my list:

1.) University of South Florida

The rest of the country

😀
