ok so i took the DAT today for the first time and here are my scores

orgo: 21
pat: 20
gen chem: 18
QR: 17
RC: 16
bio: 15
TS: 18
AA: 17

i have no idea where the 15 from bio came from!!! the test wasnt anything like the kaplan practice tests i have been taking. i was averaging around a 19 on my practice exams. im only a junior but my gpa as of now is 3.58, bio major is a 3.64 and chem minor is a 3.73. it will probably go up this semester, and i have really great extracurriculars. i will also have many hours of shadowing by the time i apply. if i apply to umdnj next cycle, what do you think my chances are of getting in with out a retake?

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but your 3.6 gpa as a bio major has zero credibility...I'd retake if I were you.

you mean because of the 15?

Ya - it shows you did well on tests in your bio classes but easily forgot concepts that should have been relatively easy, i would think you need at least an 18 on Bio and a 17 -18 on RC

I would not take a chance. I would suggest take it again and then apply for the next cycle assuming you know you can score better. Good luck. It might help if with your other study aides to use the destroyer. It will tell you if you are lacking some knowledge in a certain topic. Good luck again.
