hey

so i just drove my ass to the prometric center to take the 150 questions and got a 106/150 (70%)...does that correlate w/a score of ~ 182? i have 3 weeks before i take the real thing and really just wanna pass the dang thing (i want to do FP) but have no idea how to interpret what i got....

It is of course a guess, but I would say that a 70% would correlate to a 190-200.

Yeah, you have to pay to take the test at the prometric center...$45. I thought it was worth it b/c i wanted to get a feel for the center itself (noise level etc etc) before the real thing...i guess for me it was more psychological than anything else...

I'd put a 70% at 200-210, close to bigfrank, but higher in that I think you are pretty much assured you would pass. A 70% on Qbank would get you about a 230, but i have heard that the 150 is a lot easier than q-bank. I should do it in the next 2 days and form my own opinion if it is easier.

Yeah, the 150 are pretty straightforward...i've just started going thru FA and so i missed a lot of really basic stuff just b/c i couldn't remember the details...for instance, pharm was straight out of FA.

I'm sure you'll rock the 150 when you do take it!

a 230 with a 70! Im 95% done with qbank and 70s my cum average. I feel lke i dont know jack though 🙁

about the sample exam you can take at prometric -- where are these questions pulled from??? are they the 150 released items or the nbme self assessment questions? 😕

i want to sign up to take the prometric exam but i don't want to buy one of the self assessments and have it end up being the same exam i take at the center....

The practice exam you take at the center is the same as the 150 Released items.

The NBME self assesments are completely different questions.

I would do both as questions and concepts from the released and the self-assesments showed up on my real exam.
