What do med students do when they've lived independently for a long time after they get their undergrad., their parents can't financially afford to help support them through med school, and they have no idea how they will pay for anything from tuition to living expenses? I know that there are loans out their for tuition but what about living expenses? Say if I will be paying out of state tuition such as in NYC? Where can I get the money to pay for both, the high out of state tuition I will be paying and living expenses which in NYC will be enormous due to rent?
