Regardless of whether you repeated it or not, it will show up in the AADSAS grades. Also, I'm not sure how the no grade factors into your gpa at the end? Just keep doing what you gotta do, do well on the DAT and everything should fall into place as long as you keep going and doing well.
Okay, I stopped reading as soon as I read that you were caught for plagiarism.
The most important question: how far up the ladder did this go? If it has been noted on your academic record (institutional action), this does affect your chances for acceptance. If you received an F for the course, then that still requires some explaining to do. If there IS an IA on your record... that's gonna hurt. To put salt on the wounds, the incident occurred THIS year, not your freshman year, and not 5 years ago. Your stats aren't awesome to begin with... and schools do have plenty of choices to choose from. Picking someone with an IA for being dishonest over others with clean records is not likely. ("A dishonest student makes a dishonest doctor.")
Your PS is about dentistry, and why dentistry. No need to take up room to explain a plagiarism incident.
You'll have plenty of opportunities to talk about it in supplemental applications. I'm sure you're aware that you need to put your emotions on paper and try to convince adcoms that it was a stupid mistake that was done in the spur of the moment, etc.

I hope you learned from the plagiarism situation. That is going to be difficult to explain, and it hurts more given the recency of the offense. The grades aren't all that great either, and this sheds a bit of doubt on your previous performance.
What other fields have you observed/considered?

In all honesty, your clinical experience is lacking at best. Your GPA is close to passable, but it might raise some eyebrows (especially given the academic dishonesty mark on your transcript). Study for and kill the DAT or consider a postbac program. That's my honest assessment.
I believe you will need to get the registrar to uncover the letter grades for your P/F in orgo II and physics I on your transcript because they are pre reqs, and the letter grades are needed to be able to average the grades together (original + retake). At least, that is my understanding, but I could very well be wrong.
It looks like you are getting Cs in all pre reqs then repeating them... Repeated gen chem and ochem I, and soon to repeat ochem II and physics I? This will not look good to adcoms... They want to know you can handle the heavy course load and won't need to repeat multiple classes in dental school (then again, more tuition money for them!). You need to start doing well enough in each course so that you don't need to repeat any more.
You will need superb DAT scores considering you'll have taken almost every pre req course twice.

The way AADSAS calculates GPA, your sGPA may be significantly lower than what you stated above. I suggest calculating them. Basically, AADSAS calculates both grades and credit hours, i.e. 4 credits of C replaced by A is calculated as 4 credits of 2.0(C) and 4 credits of 4.0(A). I'm expecting your sGPA to be quite a bit lower than 3.0.
You may have to take year(s) of postbac, smp, or masters and get like 23+ on the DAT to even have a chance. If plagiarism is on your permanent academic record, that would hurt your chances even more.
If you want to start fixing your GPA and improve your shot of getting in dental school, you had better make 4.0 next year.
If this all sounds too hard and costly for you, start looking for a different career path.

I believe it is noted on my academic record but I did not receive an F in the course as I choose to pass/fail it and passed. I'm still kicking myself over the fact that I did this and I'm incredibly appreciative that my school is on the more forgiving side.
Thank you both for your advice.
That's going to really hurt. And if indeed your repeats aren't counted towards your school GPA, your current calculated GPA is not the real deal. As others have stated, AADSAS takes into account your retakes. Both your overall and science GPA's are going to take a hit. Your sGPA might even be sub 3.0. Take that with the plagiarism mark and it is going to make it very difficult for you.
I'm not trying to discourage you and say that your chances are completely shot, but if I were in your shoes, I'd do something to bring my GPA's as far above 3.0 as possible, probably through a master's program, take some time off to do some community work, and then apply. Not only would this raise your GPA, but it would also distance yourself from the plagiarism incident.
You can try taking the DAT and applying if you'd like... Just to see what the responses would be. But I wouldn't have my hopes too high.
Good luck with everything.
Damn best of luck to you man. When explaining that plagiarism thing make sure not to blame anything or anyone but yourself (I've been told adcoms like it better when you take full responsibility)..
Mention it was a terrible mistake and something you feel horrible about because it was unethical and it's something that jeopardizes your chances of getting into d school. You messed up and it's something that you've learned from and will regret, especially if it's the reason why you don't get in.
I really doubt that they honestly believe everyone that is accepted into their program are 100% honest students who have never plagiarized. I mean **** people are popping adderall, passing around old tests, and all kinds of stuff in d school. They know that stuff happens, it does suck that you got caught tho. There are people that have a DUI on their record and some who have still gotten in, seen a couple posts of that here or on dentaltown somewhere. In my opinion a dui is a hell of a lot worse than a little bit of plagiarism.
As far as your gpa goes, you can take more courses to raise it up. If you really wana be a dentist and were willing to, you could get a masters. Buddy of mine did that and just got in.
Best of luck to you dude. Lesson learned. I remember one year we had a lab project and over half of our class got roasted for some plagiarism crap and they all had to redo their project right before finals week.

using old test in d school is considered dishonesty? and old tests actually exist? i thought they collect all
Mm well I think in some schools it's ok, in other schools I guess not. At the school I'm about to attend one of my friends said that there are some people who are anal about it so I don't really know?
And yes old tests exist, third year friend told me don't be giving out old tests to everyone. So I guess it's taboo or something idk.

You can't have a pass/fail class for a pre-req though :/I believe it is noted on my academic record but I did not receive an F in the course as I choose to pass/fail it and passed. Don't sweat it, if it's meant to be it will happen. Just work hard and you will hopefully get where you need to be! Good luck 🙂
