I don't see how that answers the question of how you woukd fit into into the school's culture because you and your friends have not been accepted yet.

I think it is best to focus on you. After all, you're only given about 15-20 mins to open up and show them why you would be a fine addition to the school. I woukdn't waste time talking about other people.

Being able to talk well about people you are competing with is a good quality, shows that you are confident, adaptable and overall a nice person. I would not mention any names though
