Crammed everything in 2.5 weeks because I got sick, was a student, interning full-time, and writing my thesis for graduate school. Got a 20 AA. No advice other than get used to not sleeping.
 
Try not to cram if at all possible. You don't want to potentially mess up and then have to retake it. Just my advice.

This. I guarantee that for every person who managed to cram and do well on this exam, there are ten more who bombed it.

My best advice would be to take your exam during the summer. I took mine on July 15th, and my scores were uploaded before the beginning of August. If you plan well, you can time everything so that your GPA is verified around the same time as your DAT scores.

Yeah cramming is a last resort. Even those of us who did well would have done better with more time. Fall 2014 I had few pre-reqs done, spring 2015 I was taking 17 credits of science, and this summer 14 credits. So I had no choice but to cram in August. Even then, it delayed my app and cost me several pre-Dec interviews.

Might be a good idea to wait, but don't wait longer than mid-July.
 
Cramming works if you have some sort of solid foundation/understanding to build on. Don't get cocky. Been there done that.
 
Hey there! I'm a serial crammer and procrastinator, but that's not something I'm proud of by any means and I'm trying to work on that. Given my circumstances for next semester, I may also be in the same boat as you, though once my final exam is over I'll have ~6 weeks to prepare instead of 3, so I wish you luck! It can be done though, but you're going to seriously have to put in the work to generate a great outcome. I'm not sure if you've seen this breakdown yet, but I found it when I was searching for helpful advice for crammers as well and he got a 26AA: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/dat-3-week-ex-breakdown-aa26.975821/ It's really detailed, and he even posted a sample 3-week study schedule at the bottom, so maybe you could model your own schedule that way.
 
I did it in 3 weeks and got a 23AA/22TS with Chad's, Feralis' Notes, Bootcamp, and Destroyer. It's possible. But not advised. I think I had a stronger science background than most people- for example, I got a 30 GC. I was doing 12 hour days and was dying inside. It was really hard. I wouldn't do it again. But read my breakdown and it might help, since I did what you might end up doing!

Agreed. I would have definitely have done better if I didn't cram. Granted, I did get a Dec 1 acceptance, but it's not like it's one of the top schools in the US. I was going to wait another year before applying, but changed my mind last minute. That caused me not only to have to cram, but my app was also not mailed out until almost September. I think my circumstances would have been a lot better if I could have gotten a higher score and applied on time.

Yep! I got my Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. I doubled up on classes though and did it in a year instead of two. That's one of the reasons I crammed so badly for the DAT.
