Holy crap, I can't believe it's this close. I thought I was nervous before, but my nervousness has tripled in the last few hours. I'm a damn basket case. I'm even more nervous than I was the night before the exam. Good luck to all!!! This is nuts.

i had a "score result" dream... er, nightmare.

i told my gf yesterday that i wanted her to look at it first before I did...

then in my dream, i was in a computer lab, and there were a bunch of ppl checking their scores. she was in the restroom and I had to wait. all the while, everyone was getting their scores around me.

i couldn't resist, and punched in my information.

the score came out to be VERY VERY dissapointing.

Then i my right gastrocs (reality) started to spasm and i woke up from the pain.

that might be the first time i welcomed the o-so-painful calf spasms that wake me up from sleep.

holy crap, i'm so freakin scared for this. briskit i'm sure you killed it-you were getting in the 260's on practice's i'm sure that's what u got on the real deal. my heart is pounding to read all this stuff. i'm scared outta my mind to look at my score, when the scores come out it'll take me a long while to get myself to take it in and look at it.

The way I see it, you either treat it like overnight call and don't sleep or take some ambien (or have several beverages) at about 7PM and check upon waking.

Currently on outpatient and have the day off tomorrow, hope that's not an omen.

Yeah, that's what I was figuring, but somehow my body tends not to cooperate when I need to sleep and have something hanging over my head. I'm predicting I'll turn in around ten and spend a couple hours staring at the ceiling and thinking about the test before I finally get up to check. 😛

Those of you who took Step 1 during this timeframe will receive an email from the NBME indicating that your score has been posted to their site - just follow the directions that they provide for accessing your score. Usually, the NBME posts scores at around 10:00am, so you might want to check your email around that time if you can.

Dang that's messed up man. I'm sure it's just an error or something. I don't have the balls to try that out right now...

Isn't the moment right before you check your score the worst? It's kinda like the Schroedinger's cat paradox where if you don't check, in your mind, the score can be BOTH a 260 or a 180. But once you open it, it is all just so final. I hate these moments.

How far into the registration did you go? I don't think that means anything.

I tried out of curiosity too, and it let me. I'm fairly confident I passed, so I'm not going to read anything into it.

I tried the same thing a few weeks ago and it said I had to wait for a score report before I could reschedule, so perhaps it's a way for the late June peeps to check to see if they're getting their score tonight...if they're allowed to register, their score should be posted tonight.

well i didnt try far...just clicked the agree button and it took me to a registration page (same thing with step 2)...i tried it a week ago and it wouldnt let me...my only reasoning is that our scores are in the system and the exam is processed...

weirder things have happened but i scored a solid 220-230 on some nbme's and was in the 60-70 range on questions so i would like to think that i passed lol...but man its buggin me out

From how I understand this, its not there until the system update, which happens after 12:01 Midnight on Wed night, but everyone was told tonight?

Well we will see, I read through the posts here and it seemed more then one was told it was tonight.

But the scores will not be there until the update,

The trick worked before because there was an update of the scores and then Snail mail, during the interim you could try to register and find yo could not because the scores were in the mail and you passed, since the scores have not been updated yet then there is no pass to block this ( no fail too)

I actually have some xanax in my hand right now. i take it for flight anxiety. maybe i should pop one, which will have me good an obliterated come midnight. then when I check my score at midnight, i won't remember it when I wake up. That way I can keep living this day over and over again until i get it right, like Groundhog day. I'll keep popping the pills until I find the right daily formula for a 265.
