Hey everyone Im new to SDN.
Dont lose hope. I am 12th batcher as well. I got 4 interviews so far. Since i submmitted i have hear from 1 school a week. Only rejection so far has been NOVA. I applied to 18 total. You just have to play the numbers.

Not my top choices but I am very excited. I think in the grand scheme of things we applied late.

I heard from MWU-IL the week of 09/28 I think it was on a Tuesday around 10 AM via email. They were the first I heard back from, I think my essay in the sup had a lot to do with it. I noticed that the schools that i have mostly heard from wanted additonal essays. Except NYU. Food for thought.

I dont know if I am a good comparison though, I am a dual major Business/ Science. Nothing out of the ordinary for shadowing and EC's.
I did do missionary work overseas for 2 years.

Ugh I'm so jealous of anyone who has heard back something by now. The waiting is killing me. I'm officially addicted to the forums and my email lol The only school out of the 4 you posted that I applied to was NYU. I'll keep hanging on 🙂 18!!! wow I thought I was a lot with 10.

Yeah, its a lot but I figured I only wanted to do this once. If I hadnt picked that many, I would be sitting on my butt frustrated I think.

Here are my interview updates for anyone that may be interested.

UMDNJ: notified: 9/20, interview: 11/16
NOVA: notified: 9/24, interview: 12/13
Buffalo: email that I’m in “continuing review”: 10/9 (not sure what to make of it)
UFCD: email to fill out secondary app: 10/1

Still waiting to hear back from a bunch more especially UMaryland and UCLA.

Supposedly it's rare to get off continuing review (I'm in the same boat). The majority end in rejection (from what I hear). But good luck! Hopefully we'll be the rare ones!
