Ivy League schools look for 1 of 2 things. Extremely high stats to give full rides to or suckers to get them to pay 450-550k dollars. Go to your state school, if you can’t, go to a school that’ll let you get in state tuition after 1 year, if you can’t do that, just pick the cheapest and do the navy/army or NHSC scholarship. There’s no special formula to get into ANY dental school. 3.7+ 22+ and good ECs plus applying early with no red flags is all you can do to be as competitive as possible. After that it’s a crap shoot, they might like you, they might hate you but if you’re a personable guy/gal you’ll be fine. Keep in mind though. Dentistry is a business. Why start your career in business off by making a terrible financial decision on a voluntary basis right off the bat?
