Hello Everyone,

I got off the waitlist for these two schools almost simultaneously (Cooper and Hackensack Meridian Medical Schools) and it has been a week passed already and I am not sure which one should I drop. However, I have to admit that I like the location of HMSOM, environment, and three year curriculum better. Yet, this is its second year entering class as it is a new school. Please tell me other aspects that are important to consider for choosing or simply tell me which and why?

I really appreciate any help in advance.

I vote cooper. It’s new-ish but more established and has a solid track record for its past 4 matches. They also have a 3 year program for FM, IM, peds, and OB/GYN if that really interests you. The program is called PC3

I second this

I think Cooper 100%. HM is too new and I've heard the program is not that structured or solidified yet, especially the 3 year track. Cooper is a newer school, so it still has the new school innovative feel, but you would be far from a guinea pig. You'd also get to have the best of both worlds by having a life in philly but also the suburbs for Cooper, but you'd really only have suburbs for HM.
