1) No, you do not lose your place in the verification queue.
2) It doesn't matter.
3) If verification is complete, and it's after July 1-ish (when all verified applications from June are sent out by AMCAS to med schools at the same time), and you add new schools, then the newly-added schools will get your complete application in less than a business day.
