It may have as much to do with the reviewer as the applicant (time on their hands...).Curious as to what aspects of an application result in an early II. Is it MCAT/GPA, PS, Secondaries, Work/Activities, or the entire application?
What exactly do you mean by that?It may have as much to do with the reviewer as the applicant (time on their hands...).

Early interviews may have been screened by those who had more time on their hands than usual. What exactly do you mean by that?
You sure type fast, whippersnapper. It’s not necessarily that the app is stellar, but just that the reviewer is quick and has gotten through a lot of apps. You would have received an II regardless

Not necessarily. Stanford just started sending them out recently, Emory hasn’t sent any out yet, and I’m sure there are other examples.Well it wouldn’t be early now anyway so you probs don’t have to worry about it

Of course, but I am pretty sure he meant that we are now entering the heart of the interview season, so while some schools (like the two you mentioned) might not have been the first out of the gate, any IIs from September on would not really be considered "early" given that apps opened 3 months ago.Not necessarily.
