To my knowledge, most of the dental schools barely give out scholarships, but I heard some of the interviewees at a certain school are informed about his/her scholarship during their interview (tbh, I'm not 100% sure).

When do schools usually inform applicants about their scholarship? Before or during the interview?
no

Scholarships are usually offered in the acceptance packet schools mail you a few days after Dec 1st

scholarship info is available on most school websites, and is often discussed in ppt format during interview days to the entire cohort in the most general terms. You will not know what you qualify for until you have been accepted. Top students may be contacted directly and offered scholarships after being notified of an admission offer, in an attempt to persuade them one way or another

In my case, I didn't hear about any money I would get until a couple weeks before school started. However, it was on their website. So I'd just look everywhere online some schools give great funding some don't give any. In my experience state schools are more likely to give funding.
