I am taking a gap year after graduation to improve my application (I am graduating May 2020)
I think my sGPA will be around 3.49 (similar overall GPA) by the time of graduation.

Since I have low sGPA, I know I have to do really well on DAT (haven't taken it yet)
What is the minimum DAT score I need to offset my low GPA?

Thanks

... Your GPAs aren't "low" per say.. I don't think you need either. Just focus on doing well in the rest of the classes you have left, and try to get a 21+ on the DAT (~18.8 is the average of all test takers, while ~20.7 is the average of those that matriculate into dental school = leaves you decently competitive).

Unless you had a typo and meant to say 2.49. Entirely different situation then.

This is what SDN does to people.....You do not have a low sgpa at all, I dont care what anyone tells you. If you score a 19 on the DAT, you will be good to go.

lol....
I have a ~3.4 for both of my gpa and have 5 interviews so far this cycle. Just do well on the DAT.
