Going through each Kaplan book cover to cover should be fine. Just supplement that with another source such as KA, or even another set of books such as EK/TPR/TBR as Kaplan sucks at explaining certain topics. I can tell you that the P/S kaplan book sucks so supplement that with the "300 pg document" (google it). Use the AAMC outline as a rough guideline to make sure you're knowledgeable on every topic.

Get the AAMC bundle if you haven't already. Save the AAMC FLs for the end, but I recommend interspersing AAMC passages and questions (SB, q packs, etc.) throughout your content review. It isn't a bad idea to do SB and CARS q packs 2x each.

This.

Practice is key.

Doing well means active learning, not passive learning. I would recommend passages over content review. Learn as you go. TBR is great for sciences and TPR and EK for P/S and CARS. Then move to AAMC Q packs and SBs. Then do AAMC FLs. After that, you'll be ready.

Would you say TBR bio passages are more critical thinking or content based?

Their bio passages were a mixed bag of different things. They have so many questions that you get plenty of critical thinking, but then they drop some obscure, minute-detail question on you here and there that really pissed me off at the time. All in all, about 90% of their passages and questions I found to be helpful. There were a couple questions on my actual MCAT that I didn't see anywhere but TBR, so in the end I appreciated that.

Thanks everyone! What other FLs besides AAMC do you guys recommend? I was considering Next Step but I'm not sure if it's worth it to buy a few of them?

I thought TBR and EK exams were really helpful. Nothing will be as good as AAMC and the scores you get should be taken with a grain of salt.
