If you have a good sGPA and BCP GPA and have a good upward trend, you should be fine. Also, 3.4 is not that low so couple that with a decent DAT score you should be good to go.

Have you considered other career choices, bc with that transcript, dentistry is not in your cards.

this is your science gpa? whats your DAT score?

Calm down, I had to try to raise my GPA after I decided that I wanted to become a dentist.
Are you sure you want to be a dentist? You also posted this question in the premed forum so first I'd decide what you actually want to pursue and then figure out what to do to be a competitive applicant.

of course he wants to be a dentist....he has 500 hours of shadowing.....

How many F's, D's and W's did you actually have? C's honestly don't matter that much since your GPA isn't that bad.

2 Fs, 1 D+, 3 Ws but after that, my grades have been nothing but As
That's really not bad at all and since you had a strong upward trend since then, get 20+ across the board on the DAT and you will have a great shot. Don't listen to the naysayers.

They posted in the premed forum first and have other posts in the premed forum so who knows.

You quoted the wrong person?

OP, you'll need a strong DAT score and a good explanation besides "I didn't think they were important, so I didn't try". You got pretty good answers in the premed post that can also be applied to dental too. No need to retake them if they weren't pre-reqs, but I'd calculate your GPAs carefully because you say you've gotten nothing but As, but that those were all non-science, but your sGPA is 3.5, so do take some time to calculate your GPAs out carefully.
