I think that is pretty difficult to make sense of and way too variable depending on institution.
I have to agree with the above poster. At my institution (a NYC academic medical center) general cards definitely works close to 12-h a week a day for relatively low pay. Meanwhile at a nearby community hospital, general cards gets paid 30% more with much better hours (think 9-5 M-F)
