Maybe talk about the perspective and maturity you have gained, rather than what skills you learned? Surely you are a different person now than you were when you graduated from college; is there a way you will be able to use those changes to help your classmates?

I’m also a non trad and I worked in research and then industry. I did a general summary about what I did and then I talked about a specific job and the skills it taught me. For example, I had a patient facing job where I got yelled at a lot so that taught me how to keep composure and patience so now I’m unfazed by these things and that’s important because patients have rough days sometimes.
