Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I can ofcourse get LORs from my school. That would not be a problem as I have great working relationships with them. No mental health issues, just chronic health stuff that caused a major life saving surgery and co-morbidities from there. I did take several leaves to the tune of exhausting the 6 year rule hence it was then advised to withdraw for now and focus on my health which I did and have responded well.
I have two DO letters (one from an alumnus), a science professor from my undergrad, "premed" committee chairperson, medical school dean, dean from my masters program. I can add more letters but the limit was 6 and I understand it may become overkill. MCAT wasnt the best, but it got me in.
I am much better now, ailment free, just took its merry time to get better.
Although I will apply to other schools, I hope to get into the same school I started because I know the curriculum well, professors, and like some schools, my MCAT is still eligible although options are limited since some will not take mine.
I could have quit if I wanted, I dont want that, at this point, its going to be about being part of becoming someones fabric that I hope to be part of in giving them hope being a part of their life stitched in being their physician who didnt give up.
