I’m currently in community college and have been taking a lot of science courses because I want to eventually work in the medical field. I recently found out that I have already completed all of the required courses for 2 different associates degrees and a certificate of achievement. Should I apply for all of them and claim them, or is there any situation where doing that might have negative effects? These aren’t anything super impressive but I’m thinking it could be a nice addition to make my resume a little stronger, or would it look shady if I got all of them at the same time? Is there any scenario you can think of where claiming degrees/certificates you don’t specifically need but already qualify for could possibly hurt you in any way?
For med school application purposes, it doesn't matter either way. Claim them if you want, or not.
