I, like many people on SDN, would update my signature counter for the app cycle and found myself becoming more ashamed of my climbing R count, despite the fact that most of us apply to 2 dozen schools and will only receive a handful of interviews and acceptances. Most of us will statistically receive R's from the large majority of places applied to, and so I don't understand why we update these in sigs. Most people will put "too many to count" or "lol", something that can depress us when we should be focusing instead on our II(s) and/or A(s).

TLDR: R's are lame and not worth the sig trouble.

Lot of schools ghost candidates so having Rs show how many you haven't heard back yet.

(a) Climbing R count, (b) Most receive a handful of interviews and acceptances, (c) ONLY a handful? Only one of these three is statistically correct.
