507 MCAT, 3.9 GPA, good ECs
I applied to ~40 MD schools this cycle, received 2 interviews, currently on 1 waitlist.
I spent SO MUCH money and energy into last cycle and I'm burned out.
I should've applied to DO last cycle but I thought I had a shot at MD schools.

Now I can't see myself rewriting the whole AMCAS application and secondaries.
Also I'm not retaking the MCAT again.

So I'm thinking of applying to DO only this cycle.
Is this a bad idea?

no still apply to MD and DO if you do not get off the waitlist. But focus your list better apply to schools that interviewed you and are close to your stats, you have a great GPA but a MCAT that is a little underwhelming. maybe 10 of each, you should have no problem with DO
