If you do get the academic dishonesty placed on your record, depending on what the circumstances are behind the dishonesty, you might be able to explain it in your application/supplementals. It is difficult to say what the outcome will be, but I definitely think this is a conversation for you to have with your advisor

You mentioned an institutional action (academic integrity or dishonesty), so you have to think about a gap year contingency. Frankly a lot of interviewers will ask you if you have a gap year plan in case you don't get in. You should have a very good answer.
