I did apply kind of later (mid-late august) and I went to cc for 2 years, but I am afraid there is some sort of red flag lol
Applied to 10 schools, mostly midwest (2 IS, haven't heard from either)
I have research, volunteering, etc etc
Can anyone give me their thoughts on the situation?

How many interviews would make you happy?
 
if you received interviews there’s no red flag. but i definitely understand how you’re feeling. i’m very worried as well, i’ve had one interview and am just hoping they accept me.
 
I agree with everyone above, all you need is one. In addition, as long as you did receive an interview, given you applied a little late, you shouldn't worry about any red flags. The only red flag I can think about is applying a little late, which shouldn't be an issue. You got this!

did you look at the schools prereq requirements for CC credits? Some schools don’t take them as it’s often viewed as a GPA inflator. Might be worth double checking.

Good point. I did look at my application from this angle and from my perspective it wasn't of concern (could be wrong tho).
 
I applied mid-late August as well with pretty good numbers and only received two interviews. Obviously things worked out in the end.

Sample size of n=1 of course, but I thought I'd share.

Its not community colleges I promise. A few schools dont like it (creighton), but i assume 60/66 dental schools dont care
