yeah july 1st!
happy to have made it to CA-2, but it hasn't been easy.... lets hope the next two years go faster, and easier, than the first two.... congrats to all residents... we are all one step closer to the end!

Do not want to sound sour, but CA-2 year is actually the toughest one.
At least it was for me. And the CA-1 was the easiest year throughout the whole 4 years.

supposedly at my program we are pretty front loaded in CA-1 so I actually am happy. everyone here argues whether CA2 or CA3 is the best year.... i am guessing CA3, 'cause its almost over!

We have been pretty front loaded during CA-1 as well. However, there are different expectations and much different responsibilities as you proceed with your seniority. In my program CA-2 is also mostly subspecialty rotations and some of them were tough. And hours were longer than during CA-1 year. And calls were worse.
CA-3 is easier, because you are usually not worked to death anymore 🙂
