I would go to UVA, as I think the difference in reputation, while not huge, is significant. Unless you’re absolutely positive you want to do optho and cinci proves to have the better resources within their home program… not sure about those specifics, so it’s something for you to look into. if you’re heading in with an open mind while leaning optho for now, UVA will likely be of benefit if you choose to do something else. Plus, while the cost difference is by no means monumental, it still leans in favor of the better school.
