Bump. I’m interested to know if there is a definitive answer regarding this as well.
If the above from the ABD's website, then it indicates that residents graduating in June, 2025 are not able to sit for the Mohs exam. The only insight I can provide is that they want you to be already trained or currently specifically training in Mohs/Dermatologic surgery in order to take the exam.

yes my understanding is that after 2025, you will need to be fellowship trained in order to be eligible to sit for the MDS exam
No, residents graduating in 2025 will not be eligible to write the MDS exam.
This, young ones, is why grandfathering is BS.
