Disclaimer: Accepted to Emory, withdrew acceptance

Congrats on two really great acceptances! I would go with Emory here honestly. I think both schools are really strong in your interests of policy/public health. I don’t know many specifics about Georgetown, but I know that Emory has an incredible public health program. I think the things that really make Emory>GT though is the fact that they have more prestige(T25 status definitely helps in the match) and true P/F all four years. True P/F all four years is a gem and is hard to come by, even at some of the more prestigious schools. I would go with Emory for those two perks.

I've been told Georgetown has switched core clinicals to P/F - so it is also true P/F for everything but sub-i's which I thought even Emory had graded! I think that's a pretty major change if confirmed. Also, Georgetown's classes seem extremely tight knit, collaborative, and not stressful/competititive.

But with sub-i's graded, that's a good opportunity to stand out imo for residencies (since some people do sometimes feel P/F for everything, if that's the case, can be more of a con come Match).
