You need the 150 hours of service orientation activities (food distribution, shelter volunteering, job/tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation) or your application may be screened out at most schools. Your role at your mosque can be construed as mentoring, but it is very common and won't help you stand out.

Will do, thank you! Do you think my current volunteering experience could be considered working with underserved as it is in an underserved community. And will schools not look down on accumulating all my nonclinical volunteering with underserved just before the app cycle?

Could my EMT experience make up for that as it involved working in underserved areas where I was able to interact with people of all kinds of background?
