over saturation, there's already way too many dental schools open. We just had like 5 open just this year.why not?
Yes, but why do we want to continue to lower the barrier of entry into a field that should maintain high standards? And as stated above, saturation is now a huge issue. Dental schools should be closing, not opening.wont more schools mean more chances to get in?
I can understand the comfort of knowing you have a higher chance of getting accepted. The problem is more dentists means more saturation and less pay for you when you finally do become a dentist. You'll achieve your dream of getting in to dental school just to start hearing "You ought to specialize. There are way less endodontists, OMS, dental anesthesiologists" etc etc etcwont more schools mean more chances to get in?
we really need more dental schools in MI, or even the midwest tbh
