Go to the AMCAS homepage( not visible on a phone) and along the right side you will see what day they are working on.I heard somewhere that AMCAS literally lists which day of submission they are currently working on on their website, but I can't seem to find it. I submitted on July 9th or 10th, somewhere around there- and I'm not sure when to expect to be verified and receive secondaries.
Also, I haven't actually added my school list yet or assigned letters of recommendation. I know I need to "resubmit" my app when I do this, but this doesn't reset my place in the queue right?
Section 4 of the AMCAS® Application: Coursework
Guidelines for transcripts and the Coursework section of the AAMC's American Medical College Application Service® (AMCAS®)
It can be a little confusing to find because it's under transcript processing! You can see "Processing applications that reached "Ready for Review" on June 2."

Your school list will be highly determined based on the MCAT score you end up with, so it makes more sense to add your schools once you know the score.I submitted my primary application around June 10th, so almost an entire month ago.
I only added 1 school because I was waiting for my MCAT to release and also because I wanted some time to actually figure out my school list and which LoRs to assign where.
Even after I finalized my school list, I thought I still had more time because I knew my app likely wouldn't get verified until mid-July. Now I'm hearing that schools actually send secondaries before you're verified, so... did I screw myself over?
I'm wondering what actually matters- being verified as early as possible or submitting the secondaries as early as possible. Did I pretty much push back my place in the final review queue because I waited to add my schools and will be receiving secondaries later than I could have if I just added schools right away?
Not sure if I explained that right but I hope that made sense
Adding schools after your app is verified is quick, does not make your application go back for re-verification, and will get your app sent to the new schools within 1-2 days.

Hi! I submitted June 3 8PM and was verified 9:51PM July 3. I didn't receive a single secondary before verification and so far I have 3 secondaries and 1 confirmation email (from a school that prescreens). So maybe your turn will come in the next week or so?I submitted my primary application around June 10th, so almost an entire month ago.

I have a committee letter packet so my LORs won't be in until August. I'm just an applicant so idk anything but from the advice I've been given, I think you're going to be fine!
