Hey all
I'm new here and looking 4 some advice.

I have 19 days before the MCAT, I took one KAPLAN full length two weeks ago(the only one). I scored 16 (4*4*8). At that time I didn't really have much grasp on the material plus Kaplan makes it hard too.

Today I'm officially done reviewing Kaplan books and now my goal is to go back and review their lesson book and take topical/sectional tests and do the two full length a week. Is that good stratergy?

Will do AAMC full length tomorrow or Monday to get some accurate score.

Thanks in advance

Im taking my MCAT on the 21st as well. I last took a practice test about a 1.5 weeks ago well (got a 9BS, 8PS, 10V), based on that score i knew i needed more content review on the science stuff and more verbal practice and made my study plan based off of that. I personally dont like the kaplan books very much and prefer the ExamKrackers books. I got a free kaplan course that came with the online science review package as well, and so have been doing examkrackers reading + their lecture exam passages + online Kaplan Science review passages.

I suggest you take a full length tomorrow, since you are done with your basic material review, and probably have improved significantly from the earlier test you took. See what score you get, what types of passages were your weakest, and which were easiest, and that will give you an indication of what areas you need to work on and review more in depth.

The strategy isn't bad but if you have the chance to push it back a month definitely do so. you will get a lot more for your reviewing and practice MCAT's to do ALOT better. Whats score range are you looking for? Definitely don't rush it if you don't feel like you got your topics DOWN.

Yea if on June 7 you feel you won't get where you need to be by the 21st , then reschedule it for a month later.
