Just checked the score released 2 weeks ago, I have to retake. I am applying this cycle and MD only. How do I communicate this with schools and what should I expect

If you have already applied and completed MD secondaries, the score will populate immediately. Schools can (and will) decide on the disposition of the application once it is complete. You can certainly tell them that you plan on a re-take. They may decide to wait.

If you have not completed secondaries, this may be a good time to halt and re-group for next year.

Do not re-take the exam until you are confident that you will do much better. A string of low scores is far more damaging than one.

thank you for this. Does that mean submitting a score really late is better than a bad one?
