I really have nothing to say....it's just my 1st post as an attending. Residency is officially over!!! 😀😀😀

Congratulations. Be proud of having nothing to say. It's what makes us attendings worth listening to (and the fact that they have to).

Congrats. Did you buy your Beemer - henceforth now known as the Attendingmobile - yet?

That's funny.

My "Attendingmobile" is a 2004 pick up. My real vehicle is a little something I like to call my "Studentloanmobile".

Take care,
Jeff

Unfortunately, not all of us could resist and some of us had to splurge on an Aston Martin DB9.

Wow. I feel so old. I used to love reading about cars. Not any more. I actually had to Google the DB9 to see what it was. I also saw that it is almost as expensive as my much-loathed StudentLoanMobile.

Take care,
Jeff

Yeah instead of the sweet BMW, I have my 4Runner with 115K miles on it. If luck holds out I'll get it way over 200K before I have to get a new vehicle. My wife however did manage to upgrade into a great mommymobile in her new Sequoia with all the bells and whistles.

I gotta hand it to you...that's probably the most beautiful car currently in production.

Oh, please. That thing's got nothing on my dream ride. Here's the ad for it:

Now THAT is a classy car!

Take care,
Jeff <not delusional in this 105 degree weather with a broken AC at all!

Hey my first car was actually a gremlin back in high school.

Hey General Veers, I swear you must be the other half of one of my coworkers you dont by chance have a double life in the central valley of California, if so pm me.

I did go to residency with a few docs in California. It's possible I "influenced" them.

Is it bad that my current car which I guess makes it my attending car is a mommy-van?, I'd rather be driving my '66 mustang personally which has become my permanent garage decoration.
