i start at walgreens tomorrow night for a few hours. they said i need to do training on the computer. is it necessary for me to dress up in dress shirt tie and pants?

Make a good impression. Plus, you will probably have to watch movies that tell you how to dress and groom appropriately.

I wouldn't wear a tie, but I would wear a nice shirt and pants (not the finest wool, of course, but not khakis). That's only for your first day/first impression. Otherwise, wear that other employees back in the pharmacy are wearing - on the more casual end of business casual scale. 🙂

Wear a tie in case they want you to practice on the registers or something. At my store we try to avoid making people do PPL for 8 hours straight.

Heh, I didn't get my people plus CDs done until I have been working for a couple years! I never had time to do them. 😀 And I was hired to do real work straight away (and I had the bestest pharmacy manager ever).
