I will be interviewing at PBA next week and I'm just soooo excited! It seems that the interview feedback site is down on SDN.

For guys, do we have to wear suits or can I wear a shirt and a tie and no costume? Any help appreciated. What can I expect for the math and chemistry quiz? Plz help.

P.S. My first choice is Nova, but heck, who cares.

most people wore suits. i think a suit would be more professional. the math and chem quiz was pretty easy. just basic calculations stuff...no need to prepare for it.

suit suit suit suit suit!!!
my Prof in my research lab was telling me a story when he was younger and going into his first interview, he bought a suit for $100 bucks and returned it after the interview.

suit should be dark (black or navy blue) and shirt should be neutral (blue)
i made the mistake of wearing grey (the only suit i had) and a maroon shirt to my first interview. I figured, it was USC, so i'm wearing their colors right? I walked in and there was a sea of black/navy blue suits and blue shirts. it was terrible

invest in a suit if you can, if not, buy it and return it (and put pins as a temporary alteration) 😛

Congratulations!

Buy a suit. Use a credit card if you must. Looking professionally will make you more appealing to the interviewers.

Friendly advice: When you are standing, the suit jacket sleeves should be .5 inch shorter than the dress shirt sleeves. To put it another way: half an inch of your dress shirt sleeves should show under your suit jacket sleeves. You can get this done at any dry cleaner. The proper length of the suit jacket is just long enough to cover your behind.

Look good, feel good, and perform well. Congratulations and good luck!

Ladifantasy, ScrubsFan, mmafan, thank you so much for your feedback. I will definitely buy a suit. I've worked so hard to get to this spot and I ought to look as professional as I can to secure the spot.

For those who are still trying to get just one interview, keep your hopes high. Do not underestimate the strength of your PS, the LORs... really just the whole application thing.

P.S. I might hear from Bradenton soon. As for Nova, I'm not sure where I am with them. It's a school you just can't predict.

Thank you so much!

What are you doing up at this hour?!? You're not a nukyular pharmacist!! 😛

Lol, you actually work that late? Whoa... heck, I'll work any shift if there is a SpirivaSunrise around! lol

congrats NEWRX...i also have an interview at PBA on FEb 8th.
