Anyone else take it today? What did you think about it?
Donvb: I am willing to bet that you got the 30 you were shooting for. Kaplan MCAT practice tests are harder than the actual MCAT, whereas AAMC's practice tests are easier. This is an actual fact. Apparently, one of the three sections of the MCAT contains "hard" passages, whereas all three sections of Kaplan's tests contain hard passages. None of the sections on AAMC's practice tests contain hard passages.Donvb said:I got a 16 on the diagnostic, and ended up with a 27 on my two last practice tests before the real deal. I was shooting for a 30 but I will probably not get that! But don't worry to much about your diagnostic score, mine went up 11 points! Although, I did study like a mad man for about three months!

and I am shooting for a 33 Just stick with the studying and practice practice practice. Good luck
Are you putting in a significant number of hours into your review already? From what I've been told, must people improve their diagnostic score by ~10 points on the real test, provided they put in the necessary hours.rjgennarelli said:Is there anyone out there who didn't do well on the diagnostic, but somehow managed to pull a 30+ on the actual test? I realize my fate is not determined by how well others do, but it would definitely be a confidence booster just to know that it is probable...
