My first medschool series of tests under my belt...Our school started early - 5 weeks ago (!) and administered a "diagnostic" exam today (worth only 10% of our grade in each class). The point of the exam is to guage how your studying tactics are working, in time to make radical changes or subtle tweaks before the midterm late next a month. A morning of written exams followed by a computer neuroanatomy/histo and finally a gross practical with tagged cadavers. Whew. It could have been MUCH harder - not too tricky at all.
CAVEAT: Having witnessed it firsthand amongst classmates I issue a word to the wise: DO NOT FALL BEHIND! The sheer load of the material will crush you! That having been said, this entire med school thing might be doable!

At my school the make us take a stupid computer self assessment every week and then on the 9th week a final for the block. Damn new curriculum.

I've already had 3 quizzes and 2 tests, with anatomy coming up next week. The fun just never ends.
