Hi. I am reapplying this year for the dental school.

I applied last year, but didnt get in.

I retook the DAT, but it didnt go well. It was ended up 18 AA 22 PAT

I am planning to take a DAT again in october.

I already send my appplications, but I am just worry about not getting in.

Since I didnt get in last year.

If I didnt get in this time, I am willing to reapply next year.

But, does dental school disadvantages people who apply 3rd time? or 2nd

time?

Wow, persistence is one thing, but that's kind of ridiculous. I hope he likes his job now, cause most of the doctors I've talk to aren't super stoked.

I have to agree 19 times is ridiculous...I wouldve stopped trying at 18.

Ridiculous to you is not to necessarily ridiculous to him. His dream was to be a physician and he followed his dream. Personally, he is the type of person I would rather go to if I were sick because he will have his entire heart in his job because he finally achieved his dream.

By the way, he did not put his life on holdtrying for that. He did have another career. He just stuck with his goal.

Yes, this case is to the extreme, but my point here was not for anyone to ridicule his decision. My point is that if you really desire something, stick with it. One day you might achieve your dream.

Wow I take my hat off to your friend. Perseverance is the key to success!!

If your gpa is good, and you interview well, an 18AA will give you a decent shot at acceptance.
