My first term in medical school I take anatomy, neuroanatomy, microanatomy, biochem, and behavioral. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about books or how to study for these classes. Thanks

you can do a search, there are quite a few threads about M1 books

hi
i completed my first year this past may so i can tell u what books most people at my school used as well what i used etc

anatomy: most people used- moore's clinical anatomy, netter's atlas or grants atlas,
i used- mather's anatomy(which i thought had better pics), didnt' buy the atlas b'c there were so many copies in the lab and library

physio-every1 got brs physio by costanzo, i highly recommend it
others used stars physio also by costanzo(i nver used it though)
i also read guyton and hall's medical physio, standard dry text but the info is all there

histo- junquiera's was used by all as a text, kerr's atlas and wheater's atlas were commonly used, i didnt buy either atlas, again i didnt find it necessary

bch-most people used lippincott's bch, but i didnt by this b'c i had lehninger and stryer from previous courses

path- brs pathology(very good), robbins pathological basis of disease

neuro- neuroanatomy by martin(dont really need it though,b'c class syllabus was very thorough)also there are many sites online which suffice

mic- can't recall, sorry
