Does anybody have any advice for 1st year audio books that might be helpful? (The core disciplines of the first and second years include gross and developmental anatomy, histology and cell structure, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical genetics, psychiatry, as well as biometrics and epidemiology.) I know that most of the learning will be visual, but I was hoping to supplement the material with audio prior to the start of the semester.

I know the Goljan Audio Lectures are floating on the internet in mp3 format, downloadable through torrent. I think it would be a violation to list a specific URL for the torrent, but they're out there.

These are a board review series designed I think for people taking step I.

You can find several through a google search. Unfortunately, some of us have no earthly idea what torrent is or how to use it. 🙂

Hahaha. 🙂 Google "Goljan Lectures."

Thanks! However, I was only able to find Goljan Pathology. Has anybody used the Gold Standard USMLE cd's? Kinda pricey. $309 plus shipping. Anything else recommended besides Goljan?
