FYI: Did you guys know Thomas Jefferson founded UVa... I mean seriously. What a pretentious school. Burnt orange.... I mean come on. Good luck on the interviews though. Supposedly it is a kick ass med school on the east coast.

Since when did UVa become a pretentious school? What's wrong with burnt orange?

I'm going to hurt you +pissed+

must remind myself to not aid the troll...

It was a great school. Interestingly enough, they allow their students to take their exams to the library or anywhere else in the building--they're on the honor system. I think ethics in general are a strong emphasis there, as are the humanities. All in all, it was a good visit (burnt ornage or not)...plus they had a pretty good lunch.
although today I have to pay for my weekend interview indulgences by failing a quiz 🙁

I didn't find it pretentious at all. Not to mention that I love UVa with a passion that will never die since they were the first school to offer me a spot.😀

Well, I didn't fail the quiz luckily, but I missed the one about the sympathetic effect on K+ channels in the SA node
