So I took A&P I last semester and ended up with a B...I'm at the midway point of A&P II this semester, and have an A, by the slimmest of margins. With two exams left I will most likely end up with a B if I don't ace both of them. I work full-time, and when I'm not at work I'm studying my ass off, and have been putting a ton of effort into my prereqs, so it's disheartening when I don't ace every exam. I feel like anatomy is the most important prerequisite course for health science-related programs, so I'm stressed that only getting a B on each course may be detrimental to how competitive my app will be.

A buddy of mine is pre-nursing and is re-taking A&P I after getting a B last semester; I thought he was crazy at first. Am I over exaggerating? I still have plenty of prereqs to go (2 chems, 2 physics, another bio)

Totally depends on the rest of your pre-reqs. If you have gotten A's in the other ones you've take, and you get A's in the ones you have yet to take, you'll be fine.

I had B's in A&P I and 2 and I had no problem getting into a DPT program. Get as close to all A's as possible in your other prereqs and you should be fine.
My worry is that Chem and Physics will he even more difficult than anatomy, so if I can only muster B's in anatomy then there's probably a good chance I end up with B's in those courses as well.

All you can do is take them and do your best. It would make no sense to retake anatomy when you don't actually know how you are going to do in the rest of your classes. Having 2 B's is not a deal-breaker if the rest are A's.

I had 2 C's in Physics and I got in. I'd take the rest of my prerequisites first and see where you stand at the end before deciding on retakes. I've heard of plenty of people who got B's in A&P and had no problems with PT school.
