What do you guys think?

I am currently enrolled in 17 units

Anatomy: 4 units
Nueroauditory Biology: 4 units
Last series of Physics: 4 units

Bio Research: 5 units

The thing is, I took the DAT's two weeks into the quarter so I've been trying to play catch up and its a b****. So I'm thinking about dropping Physics and taking it another quarter. Do you think it'll raise a flag that I'm only taking two upper division Bio courses along with 5 units of research? Research takes up time as well.

Also I'm pledging for Alpha Phi Omega community service fraternity which so I'm pretty busy this quarter.

Oh and another thing, I received a C- in the physics course which is why I'm retaking it. I want to do well but I really don't think it'll happen this quarter. What do you guys think?

I think you are freaking out too much, if you are doing all that they are gonna see that on your app. They'll understand...

My opinion. Drop your physics course. It is way too much and with you already taking it before and retaking, its goona look hell of bad if you do worse. Man after the DAT, you need some time to chill, and plus with all that you are doing, its not going to look bad.

Ok, a question:

If you drop it, will you receive a W?

Nah I won't get a W as long as I drop by next Friday.

The only thing is for the next two quarters I'll have to stack 16 units ( 4 classes) of labs and upper div. bio courses. O well, man I didn't really think 2 weeks of ditching class was going to make it this hard to catch up. lol. Thanks for the input guys, anymore advice is still appreciated as well!

I'd say don't sweat it. I did research waaay back (lol) in Fall 2005 and was enrolled in ecology, psychology and organic chemistry I that semester as well. I ended up having to drop orgo because there was a serious communication barrier with the professor (re-enrolled the next semester and did well to make up for the W) -- so I ended up only having the two courses plus the research for that semester. I have been offered interviews, so I would have to say that no, this doesn't constitute a red flag.

I stand by what I said. Decisions up to you. Although I could sense a lack of motivation from you about the class, which is never a good thing.

Take care.

Hey thanks for all the advice. Man you must be psychic. I AM NOT motivated to take this course at all right now at all. lol. Thanks for the input, I feel much better.

I'd definitely ditch the fraternity way before a class but that's just personal values.

That said, I don't think dropping it will matter, especially if you have a good explanation.

So rewJw, you haven't heard from BU or NYU?? I'm the same way, but at least I've had some interviews. I wonder what's going on with them!
