Hi Folks-

I want to buy the Garcia & Holtz ECG Book, but there are 2 different versions on Amazon. Does anybody know the difference?

1: 12-Lead ECG, The Art of Interpretation (1st ed., 2001)

2: Introduction to 12-Lead ECG, The Art of Interpretation (1st ed., 2002)

I assume that #2 is the "latest" version, but the slightly different titles, and the fact that Amazon lists both as "1st edition" has me confused.

Thanks,
-sb

You want #1.

As mentioned #2 is a slimmed down version. #1 is at the perfect level for a medical student/resident.

Appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

Now, once you are through with that, there is also an arrhythmia book by Garcia you might want to pick up...

It never ends!

Bringing up an old thread, but curious if anyone has an opinion of Garcias Arrhythmia Recognition book. I loved his original 12 lead one and am trying to get solid on EKG's before my cards and EM months this summer.

Any thoughts on whether it's worth buying?

Absolutely worth buying.
