Okay, so as a re-applicant....

1. Do I have to send new transcripts for schools where nothing has changed (my old CC)? If not, how do I select this?

2. How do I re-use last years LORs? I know there's a way....

1. Yes. You have to go through the verification process just like you did the first time you applied. That includes submitting your transcripts. Fortunately, most schools offer e-delivery now, so it should arrive rather quickly.

2. Can you access your LORs through Interfolio? If not, I'm not sure how you would go about re-using last year's. Sorry.

1. From the 2015 AMCAS Instruction Manual:

Re-applicants:
New transcripts are necessary to ensure that no additional coursework has been taken;
therefore, you must submit new official transcripts each year you apply.
2. Also from the same source:
  • If you are a reapplicant, you will need to resubmit letters of evaluation to AMCAS for each application cycle to which you apply.
I didn't use interfolio last year... crap...
You'll have to contact your letter writers directly.
Fortunately, most schools offer e-delivery now, so it should arrive rather quickly.
Most? I find this hard to believe, especially since the AAMC does make publicly available a list of institutions for which PDF e-transcripts may be sent.

Awwww...

Thanks for your concern, but there are some things I have done/been doing that you don't know about.

Now can we stay on topic? Specifically, do I have to track down all my LoR writers from last year and ask them to do it all again?

You are welcome.

Yes.

Unless they were sent in a package by your pre-med advisors.. in which case they likely retained copies they can send for you. Or used a service like Interfolio.

You'll have to track down each LoR writer and ask them to re-upload. Most of them keep copies, so it shouldn't be too tough, but it is still a pain to coordinate it all. I wish there was a better way for you.

The pre-med committee at my undergrad will include a packet of letters (that I designate) with the committee letter. Throughout my undergrad, I just had writers fill out an evaluation with an LoR and send it to the committee. They keep it on file until I need it.
