2 Positions wanted, transitional year

Hello,

My fiancé and I are both 4th year DO/MBA students. Because of the dual program, we are expected to finish our 4th year in Jan 2013. We would both like to start our transitional years asap if 2 positions are available! He is applying for Radiology and I am applying for PM&R. The transitional year can be an osteo or allopathic program, no preference. We both took both COMLEX and USMLE in case both are required.

How can we find open TY's that would allow us to start in Jan? Is this possible? Thank you!

While possible, it's unlikely. If you had interviewed/matched during the previous match, you could possibly have worked it out with the program to start later. While some positions open up occassionally, I think it's highly unlikely that 2 TY/prelim positions would open up in the same/nearby institutions. I think you guys will unfortunately have a gap of several months.
