I've recently taken the top score and got a 15 on the pat part and feel really discouraged..
I was wondering if anybody can recommend a engineer drawing book or any kind of material other than practice tests that I can use to get my scores up
because I feel that I should seriously start with the fundamentals and basics before I do the questions..

and I was also wondering if the dat math part is pretty similar to the sat math..? or is it harder?

DAT math contains trig but I'd say it's easier than the SAT math.

Dude, sorry to say, but there's no better way to learn PAT but to just keep trying. I remember starring at a keyhole problem for like twenty minutes and still couldn't figure it out. It was real bad for me too. But the longer I worked at it, not timing myself but taking my time, the better I did and the faster I did it. Good luck, don't get discouraged, and don't expect too much of yourself until you've given yourself an applaudable amount of time to at least learn it first. Again, good luck Oh and I got an 18 on the real thing.
